The first thing you have to know is that my map has errors. I don't know about them at the time that I finish it, but that's just what happens with a project that's so big with so much data. I would be very appreciative of any error reports that could be sent to me at jeffrey@algonquinmap.com.

Below I'll try to list all known (major) errors so that you can be aware of them for your trip, but be warned that the list below might not be up to date.

All major errors (Last updated November 27th, 2011):
•Positioning of the first campsite south of the Rod & Gun portage coming into Louisa
•Mention of the Bissett Creek Provincial Park canoe route being in bad shape. It was recently verified to be signed and cut
•Positiong of campsites in the bay south of Caroline I and in the bay northwest of the Gull Islands on Burnt Island Lake
•The lake between Treefrog and Jay between Sunbeam and Burnt Island is called Kooy Pond
•The site on the north side of Shah is approx. 100m left of where it's marked
•The legend has Pickerel spelled incorrectly
•The site just south of the 550m portage on Sawyer has moved; it should be on the biggest point west of where it is marked
•Lake Louisa is labelled as Louisa Lake
•The text warning about a beaver dam mid-portage mentions Fraser Lake and David Lake. I should have been marked as Fraser Lake and David Thompson Lake
•The portage (+ the campsite beside it) from Shirley L to Ryan L is mislocated ~250m north of where it should be on the Shirley L side. The campsite to the east of it is marked about 50m south of where it should be.
•The White Partridge Cart Trail has no indication of it's length - it's signed as 14010m, but is actually 13270m
•Hilliard Lake and Hilliard Bay (Cache Lake) are accidently spelled with Hillard (ie they're missing an 'i')
•The backpacking map is missing the smallmouth bass symbol in it's legend. Consult the legend for the complete map until this is fixed (I'm really sorry for the oversight!)
•Some lakes where fishing is prohibited are labelled with the fish species they contain. This is not an invitation to fish them; rather I need to add an explicit note beside each of these lakes as a reminder
•Little Canoe Lake is labelled as Canoe Little Lake (I don't know how I made this mistake?!)

•Hmm, I need to find a better way to communicate errors, because there are a lot of them (notably including a lot of changes that the Ministry of Natural Resources has made to campsites and portages this year)
