Frequently new resources that can help improve the map become available for purchase. However, with my limited funds I am sometimes unable to afford them and have to pass them up. Rare books and old maps as well as data acquired from the Ministry of Natural Resources from Freedom of Information requests can be quite expensive, and any funds donated through the link below will be directed to improving the map with resources like these.

The Brent Ranger Cabin Restoration Fund is located in the Brent Store on Cedar Lake at the north end of Algonquin Park (Access Point #27).

This historic Deputy Chief Ranger's headquarters was restored with the effort and funding of Bill Swift (the founder of Algonquin Outfitters,) and Jake Pigeon (the Brent store proprietor)

I believe that Jake personally pays for many repairs out of pocket and would appreciate your support. Thanks for keeping history alive.
