19 Days in Algonquin Park

 
 

Starting July 18 me and my father (Alan,) went on a 19 day canoe trip through Algonquin Park. Although it was supposed to be 28 days as it had been last year, it was cut short due to my grandfather’s poor health.


For the first time rather than writing out my trip log on paper on the trip and then later typing it up I used my father’s brand new iPod Touch to type up the days events every afternoon or evening. This allowed for more detailed entries and helped me put this together so quickly (I was certainly very impressed with this system.)


In terms of the organization of this log I’ve decided to roughly break up each page of the log by township. Although this means that some pages are longer than others, it also means that the map section at the top of each page is of a consistent size and hopefully isn’t too large or confusing.
